Our Charity

i-Realise is proud to announce its support for The Matthew Elvidge Trust.

Matthew Elvidge was a bright, energetic and caring young man, who had everything to live for, but aged 23, he took his own life after a very short period of depression. Sadly, those closest to Matthew were not fully aware of the depth of his depression and how to help.

The Matthew Elvidge Trust was established in 2010 by Matthew’s family with the following objectives:

  • To increase the awareness of depression, its signs and behaviours that may lead to suicide in young people
  • To equip and train people who are best placed to identify those at risk from depression
  • To encourage and help young sufferers to seek professional help through counselling, psychotherapy and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT)
  • To reduce the stigma of depression

The objectives are being achieved by ongoing fundraising and working with other charities in this field.

We will be running a number of fundraising events open to members of our wider network, and some individuals from the company will be participating in sponsored events throughout the year.
